Pak 40 gunners painted

I've managed to get the Pak 40 Crew's uniforms and equipment painted but as you can see they need a little work still. Overall I am pleased with how they turned out as this is my first attempt at painting figures and they are somwhat more complicated than machines.
This is how they will stay until i get back from school. So there won't be anymore posts regarding this project.
I just got some new troops in. they are German Machinegun troops. Slightly larger scale so easier to paint.
Please let me know what you think. Constructive criticism is always welcome here.

This is my stack of books that I am trying to read. It is all history (and historical novels) but I have every thing from ancient history to naval warfare in the 1700s to WWII to Modern Warfare. Right now I am reading the Patrick O'Brian novels. It is a 20 book series set in the 1790s during the Napoleonic wars.

Here are the other pics that I have.
These are closeups to show the action that is going on. And the pic below is from the top to give the overall layout.
This shows you the inner workings of the gun. I had to glue and paint every single little one of those parts (and they are very small)

Here is one of my other projects that I havent worked on for a while. It is a German Pak-40 Anti-Tank Gun and Crew. I plan on turning it into a Diorama. This is just a first draft. the real thing will have dirt and grass and the Crews uniforms will be painted. I made the "sandbags" out of modelling clay but unfortunately it doesnot harden no matter what I do to it. I also used the clay to hold the figures and equipment to my makeshift base (a large hardcover book)
These are just a few pics because Picasa won't let me do more that 3 at a time. Note the battledamage and wear on the gun. I did do that intentionally

I have just put up the foremast on my model of the USS Constitution. I don't think that I will finish it in this next week so I will have to shelve it until I get back from school. The mast is much taller than I thought it would be but they don't call them tall ships for nothin.
Here is a view from 3/4 the way up the foremast.
Here is the larboard anchor. I completed that when uncle Norm and aunt Debby were over.
I took these pics to try to get the hang of this camera that Mom and Dad gave me. Here is a closeup of the larboard deadeyes and cannon.

New/Old Ipod

Here is my new Ipod. I bought it on Craigslist.com from a guy in middleville. It will come in handy on long flights, busrides and what ever else i might run into this year.
